Connection is the key that allows transformation to occur. Research has demonstrated that social connection and interaction is one of the most fulfilling and meaningful aspects of the human experience. Actually, the therapeutic relationship is more valuable than any particular approach or modality and that connection involves empathy, care, and genuine interest in others. My person-centered approach is individualistic as each person has unique experiences, strengths, and goals for change.
Compassion and honesty, along with meeting individuals where they are, allows for repair and the building of personal strengths and skills. These values form the foundation of therapy and the gift that therapy transformation provides. It is my honor to be with you on this incredible journey. I am a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in the greater Los Angeles area. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude at Ashford University for my undergraduate in psychology and spent much time studying holistic health, spirituality, and healing. I have been working at West Valley Counseling Center in Tarzana since January of 2019, which provides services for the underrepresented and underprivileged populations. I work with a diverse range or individuals, families, and couple’s and firmly believe that every person and relationship have the potential to grow and transform.
